Meet Betsy, a very involved volunteer at Levindale Auxiliary, JNF, Israel Bonds, The Associated, Beth El, and the Board of the JCC.  Betsy and Lou’s son Eric moved to Israel four years ago where he met his beshert, a “sabra” named Maayan. With the exciting news of their impending marriage, Betsy, Lou, and their daughter, Julia knew they had to figure out a way to join Eric and Maayan in person in Israel to share in their simcha, regardless of COVID19.

Betsy and Lou will share their trials and tribulations regarding travel to Israel during COVID, including securing travel permits, undergoing a mandatory quarantine, and enduring a nationwide lockdown while wondering if there would even be a wedding.  Join us on December 2 at 7:30 PM to experience this family’s story of love and perseverance!
