Pirkei Avot is a focused study of the Torah's views on ethics and interpersonal relationships. It is the Jewish “how-to” guide to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. Pirkei Avot is part of one of the tractates of the Mishna (oral law). This 4 session course will highlight the relevancy of an ancient text and our modern day lives. Aviva Janus is our Director of Congregational Learning and Programming. Aviva studied Jewish texts at Machon Pardes in Jerusalem and has a MA in Jewish Professional Leadership from the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership in Chicago.
